In the mood for something tasty? Then join Milton Public Library’s Gather ‘Round Recipe Club, where cooking enthusiasts meet to share and sample each other’s cuisine. Members meet at the library every other month from 6 – 8 p.m. The group is open to all adults age 18 & older. Cooks of all skill levels are welcome.
Here is how the club works:
Each meeting will feature a different theme. The dates and themes of the gatherings are listed below.
Each participant is asked to prepare a recipe that fits the theme. They must bring in a printed copy of their recipe, as well as the actual dish, to allow for sampling. Members may be asked to review the recipe, as well as rate the foods they sample. Copies of each recipe will be made available to the other members. Participants should be sure to cite their recipe, for example, whether it is from a cookbook, blog, or a family recipe.
Those interested in joining the group are asked to please register by calling the Milton Public Library at (608) 868-7462 or stopping in at 430 East High Street in Milton.
